US Together Columbus Welcomes VISTA's

Isaiah and Meave VISTAs.jpeg

This month, US Together’s Columbus office welcomed two new AmeriCorps VISTAs, Meave Fryer and Isaiah Baker.

Meave, a recent OSU grad and incoming Refugee Integration Specialist, will be taking over the duties of Ebony Caldwell, who spent her year building the capacity of US Together by producing written curricula, working with the New American Advisory Council and Youth Committee, representing the organization at marketing events and fairs, and contributing to special projects. As Ebony transitions out of her VISTA service, she plans to continue to engage with the immigrant and refugee community through the channels she developed at US Together.

Isaiah, a Columbus transplant from Minnesota, will serve as Community Engagement and Development Specialist, a position held for the past year by Marcus Andrews. Marcus will be staying on with US Together as Special Projects Coordinator, continuing his exceptional work supporting the efforts of the New American Advisory Council and representing US Together in the community. The staff at US Together thanks Ebony and Marcus for their outstanding service over the past year, and looks forward to working with Meave and Isaiah!
